Yesterday, we spent a wonderful afternoon at Soho House Farmhouse in the cookery school learning to make Elderflower cordial and Elderflower biscuits! We started the afternoon off with a tour of the kitchen and produce gardens where we learnt which edible flowers we could incorporate into our everyday cooking! so cool 🙂
We then collected and picked our Elderflowers from the Farmhouse extensive grounds to make our cordial… a process which was quite easy! can’t believe we hadn’t tried to make this before ourselves. see the recipe above.
Our chef, Dave was knowledgeable and intuitive and it was a delight to spend the afternoon with him.
We next made our biscuits, a light and crisp affair which we incorporated the Elderflower cordial to make a simple and short little biscuit… heaven!
recipe for the biscuits
